Jellico Post Office

Jellico is a small, isolated town located in the mountains near the Tennessee/Kentucky border. A beautiful community, Jellico is the kind of place one would visit in order to escape the hustle and bustle of big city life.

The Jellico Post Office is literally located seconds from the Kentucky border - and is said to be home to a few spooks. However, the nature of these ghosts are somewhat mysterious. It is unclear who these spirits were in life, or even if they were anybody. The sprits who supposedly inhabit the building seem to be benevolent in that they do not harm anyone.

The ghosts are noisy, however - it is said that one who visits the post office after dark will hear voices talking to each other and hear footsteps upstairs, where they seem to reside. Some employees do not like to stay there after dark, and the ghosts have scared away more than a few security guards working the night shift.

Do these ghosts really exist? And if so, who were they in life? Why do they haunt this post office? We will probably never have definite answers, but the mysterious stories are almost sure to continue.
